New Born

For when you're feeling down.

--Redemption of One-Kind--

Souls cry out to be heard in the dark,
but who is there to save them?
Men who thirst for the slightest remark,
of a soul passing by him.

Such cries echo out and are forgotten,
but the walls can hear them.
How soon, that, once begotten,
their pain fades out so dim.

Numb and cold are these men,
thirsting for attention like no other.
They have hold of their sins,
but can not seek another.

They were yet kings to one,
one who knew pain greater than all.
Whose redemption was won,
and he was risen from his crawl.

One man was set beneath the crowd,
set under to be trampled by their feet.
The ones who cried "save me, save me!",
stepped on this ones head instead of concrete.

Yet from all these men whose plight was great,
his was greater than all put togheter.

Dead was he.
Souless and callous was he.
And never had he known love.
Yet one day he was redeemed.

From down under he rose,
roaring with new life.
He screamed with instinct unlike those,
and he flew up toward heavan, away from his strife.

Now past his plight,
the light was no more so dim.
Jesus, not quite,
but a follower of him.

Hold on.
